The Best Yumblink Pancakes recipe you will fall in love with. Full of tips and tricks to help you make the best pancakes.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to make breakfast extra special, this Pancake Breakfast Board is the way to go! I made these heart-shaped pancakes using just a few simple pantry staples and added fresh fruit and tasty toppings to create a brunch spread that looks as good as it tastes. Whether you’re hosting a spring brunch, planning a cozy breakfast in bed, or just want something different for the weekend, this board is guaranteed to impress.
I grabbed all my ingredients from @Sprouts, including their unsweetened almond milk, which I love for keeping things light and dairy-free!
Method
1. Mix It Up
Start by grabbing a medium mixing bowl. Crack in the two eggs, pour in your milk of choice (I used @Sprouts unsweetened almond milk), then add the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, a dash of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Use a whisk or fork to mix everything together until the batter is smooth. Don’t worry if it’s not perfectly lump-free, just make sure everything is well combined and there are no big pockets of dry flour. Be careful not to overmix, though, as that can make the pancakes tough instead of soft and fluffy.
2. Make the Pancakes
Place a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and let it warm up for a minute or two. Add a little butter or nonstick spray to grease the surface. This step is important so your pancakes don’t stick and get that golden crisp edge. Once the pan is hot and ready, scoop out about 3 tablespoons of batter for each pancake. For a fun twist, I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter directly on the skillet and poured the batter inside the mold. You can try different shapes to match the season or occasion stars, flowers, or circles all work too!
3. Flip Time
As your pancakes cook, keep an eye out for tiny bubbles forming on the surface. This is your sign that the bottom is cooked and it’s time to flip! The edges should also look slightly dry and set. Use a spatula to gently flip each pancake and cook the second side for another 1–2 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and cooked through. If you’re using a cookie cutter, be sure to remove it carefully with tongs before flipping, and remember to grease it again before making your next pancake.
4. Build Your Board
Once all the pancakes are ready, it’s time for the fun part arranging your breakfast board! Start by placing the pancakes in the center of a large platter or serving board. Then, surround them with colorful toppings like fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, dark chocolate chips, and a little jar or drizzle of maple syrup. You can get creative here and add whatever toppings you love this is your chance to make the board feel playful, seasonal, and delicious!

- Build your board Place the pancakes on a board or platter. Surround them with your favorite toppings fresh berries, chocolate chips, and maple syrup are always a win.
Notes
- Don’t overmix the batter just stir until it comes together, or your pancakes might turn out dense.
- Make sure your skillet is hot enough before adding the batter, or they won’t get that golden crisp.
- If using a cookie cutter in the pan, grease the inside so the pancake doesn’t stick!
- Keep an eye on the heat. Too high and they’ll burn, too low and they’ll get soggy.

Serving Suggestions
- Serve with a side of scrambled eggs or plant-based sausage for a full brunch spread.
- Add some whipped cream, yogurt, or peanut butter for extra fun toppings.
- Great for holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter, or Mother’s Day.
- Turn it into a pancake bar and let everyone build their own!
Fun Fact
Did you know that pancakes have been around for thousands of years? Even ancient Greeks and Romans had their own version! They may not have had maple syrup, but they sure knew how to make breakfast special.
