Creamy Single Serve Avocado Chocolate Pudding

If you’ve got one ripe avocado and a sweet tooth, you’re in for something so good. This creamy single serve avocado chocolate pudding is smooth, chocolatey, and made right in a blender. It’s the perfect quick treat for one (no sharing required ). With healthy fats from avocado and a rich cocoa flavor, this pudding is both satisfying and secretly nourishing. I love how fast it comes together and yes, licking the spoon is a must!

Method

1. Scoop & Blend

Start by carefully cutting your ripe avocado in half and removing the seed. Scoop out all the creamy green flesh and add it straight into your blender or food processor. This is your base, so make sure you’re using an avocado that’s soft and fully ripe it should mash easily with a spoon.

2. Add the Flavor Makers

Next, toss in the rest of your ingredients  2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder for that deep, rich chocolate taste; 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to bring a gentle natural sweetness; a splash of vanilla extract for cozy flavor; 1 tablespoon of creamy almond butter to boost the texture and nuttiness; and finally, 2 tablespoons of your favorite milk (I love almond or oat milk, but any works!). This combo gives the pudding its silky, smooth body.

3. Blend Until Creamy Smooth

Now it’s time to blend everything together. Start on a medium speed and pause to scrape down the sides with a spatula as needed cocoa powder and almond butter like to hang out on the edges. Blend until the texture is completely smooth and creamy, with no chunks or bits left behind. This step is key for that pudding-like consistency, so give it a little extra blend time if needed!

4. Serve It Up

Once blended, spoon the pudding into a small bowl or glass. It should be thick, mousse-like, and silky. You can enjoy it as is, straight from the blender (and yes, licking the spoon is totally allowed

5. Fancy Finishing Touches

To make it feel extra special, top it off with a swirl of whipped cream, a few fresh raspberries, and a little sprinkle of shaved dark chocolate. These toppings add a lovely contrast in flavor and texture light, fruity, and just a hint crunchy.

6. Chill (Optional)

If you prefer your pudding firmer or cooler, pop it in the fridge for 15–30 minutes before eating. This gives it time to set slightly and makes it extra refreshing, especially on warm days!

  • Splash of vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter

  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice (I use almond or oat!)

  • Optional toppings Whipped cream, raspberries, shaved dark chocolate

Directions

  • Scoop & Blend  Cut open your avocado, remove the seed, and scoop the green goodness into your blender.
  • Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, almond butter, and milk.
  • Blend until super smooth this is key! Scrape down the sides if needed to get all the bits blended.
  • Serve it up in a small glass or bowl.
  • Top it with whipped cream, raspberries, and a sprinkle of shaved dark chocolate for that fancy touch.
  • Enjoy right away for a soft, mousse-like texture or pop it in the fridge for a firmer, chilled dessert.

Notes

  • Use a ripe avocado it should feel soft when gently squeezed. A hard one won’t blend smooth and will mess with the texture.
  • Don’t skip scraping the sides of the blender cocoa powder loves to cling!
  • Start with less milk if you want it thicker, and add a little more if it needs help blending.
  • Want it sweeter? Taste and add an extra drizzle of maple syrup if needed.

Serving Suggestions

  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt or cinnamon for a little twist.
  • Layer with granola or crushed graham crackers for a parfait-style dessert.
  • Serve with fresh strawberries on the side for dipping.
  • Great with a small espresso or cup of coffee for grown-up dessert vibes!
